Community in Conversation

Relationships in Sweden tend to be weak. Few couples bother to marry, and divorces are common. More than half of the population lives single. We are a dozen people who meet to discuss relationships, what makes them healthy, what we have done and can do better and how we need to heal. The goal is to become a stronger and better partner in a healthy, lasting relationship. We also look at spiritual principles that guide us to live for something beyond ourselves and our present circumstances.

Ninth Meeting ~ Magnus Ladulås ~ imbalance in finances

We went to a weeknight, by popular vote.

The topic this time was How do you get out of the rut of entering relationships with the same kind of unhealthy people?

We all have been in ruts... where people wanted to use us for various reasons. Or people were narcissistic or even abusive or unfaithful. The topic drifted to finances being a problem in relationships, different ideas about spending and saving. Then, we even talked about pre-nuptial agreements and real estate in Stockholm! It was a widely meandering conversation, but all good.
